Leviticus is a book of the Bible people can easily get stuck on, or even skip over altogether. But this ancient book is full of practical wisdom that applies to us today—thousands of years later. At the time Leviticus was written, the nation of Israel was wandering through the wilderness, asking, “How can an unholy people approach a holy God?” or, “How can we be clean enough to come before God?” The book of Leviticus is God’s answer.
But the best reason to study Leviticus? It’s really all about Jesus. We’ll see shadows of Jesus through the entirety of the book, and we'll learn how Jesus is the fulfillment of the law and how he is the way we can be made clean to come before God.
