Ages
Ages 5 through 12th Grade. Our league welcomes those that have been playing flag football for years or brand new to flag football. Whatever the skill level, know that we would love to have your family be part of Upward Flag Football at CCC.
Time Commitment
One practice during the week, with the exceptions for younger divisions, which will have a mini practice before their game on Saturday & one game per week on Saturdays.
Cost
$125 per child | Registration opens April 3, 2024. Registration is not complete until full payment is received online.
A sibling discount is available this year!
Registration cost includes the Fall Flag Football Player Kit, which contains the following items:
Jersey
Shorts
Flag football belt and flags
Play wristband (older divisions)
Personal Football customized to your child/teenager’s age practice with throughout the season and keep after the season
The player is responsible for the following items:
Mouth guards (required for all ages)
Cleats (optional for kindergarten/1st grade)
Important Dates
Registration | April 3 - June 22
Evaluations | Evaluation dates will be included in your confirmation email when you register | All evaluations will occur at the CCC sports fields in Omaha
Meet Your Coach Night | TBD | This meeting will last about 90 minutes.
Pass It On Camp (Kingdom Sports) | Thursday, July 11th, starts at 7 PM - 8:30 PM at the CCC sports fields in Omaha| Free Camp. Registration is required. (Camp is for students going into 3rd through 8th grade fall of 2024)
Opening Practice | Begins the week of August 5th | Either Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday nights | CCC Flag Football Fields (weather permitting).
CCC Upward Flag Football Mini-Camp | Saturday, August 10th | CCC Flag Football Fields | FREE for those who register with CCC Upward Flag Football
Game Day | August 17 | CCC Flag Football Fields. Please note: There are no games on Labor Day weekend. Enjoy time with your family!
Final Game | October 12 | CCC Flag Football Fields (Tournament for older divisions)

Coaching
Are you a high school student, college student, twenty-something, single, married, or have a child whom you want to coach? Volunteering is the key to making our season special! We are looking for individuals who love Jesus, enjoy football, and want to be role models to children and teenagers. Whether you are a veteran or brand new to flag football, we'd love to have you a part of our CCC Upward Coaches Team (Head or Assistant Coach). We will equip you with the tools you’ll need and will provide training. Sign up to coach or volunteer.

Refereeing
At CCC Upward Sports we offer to pay our referees and help empower them as they are part of the CCC Upward Sports Team. We are looking for individuals ages 13 and up who love Jesus, enjoy football, and want to be role models to children and teenagers as Referees. Whether you are a veteran or brand new to flag football, we'd love to have you a part of our CCC Upward Referee Team. We will equip you with the tools you’ll need and will provide training. Time Commitment is 1 hour a week or longer if you want to referee more than one game. Sign up to coach or volunteer.
Friend/Sibling Request
CCC Upward Flag Football provides a unique system of evaluating players and drafting teams with the goal of having teams of equal skill. Though not a perfect system, we do our best to help balance the teams. We also recognize there will always be teams each year that will win more games than other teams.
We want your child to have the opportunity to be able to play together with a friend. CCC Upward Flag Football will do its best to allow for one friend request. Please be aware that we cannot grant multiple friend requests on the same team.
CCC Upward offers a practice night exclusion. However, if you and your friend request a different practice night exclusion, please be aware that the practice night exclusion will be honored before the friend request.
Siblings in the same division can be on the same team. Children of coaches will be placed on their parent’s team.

The season runs from the week of August 5 through the week of October 12, excluding Labor Day weekend.
Practices: One sixty-minute weekly practice | Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday | 5:30–8:30 PM | CCC sports fields.
Games: One game per week | Saturdays | CCC sports fields
