Summer U Courses
Summer U Jr (Pre-K/K, Ages 5+)
Summer U Jr will be a week filled with engaging Bible stories, upbeat worship, art, games, crafts, snacks, and much more. We want our youngest kids to have a great week learning about the love of Jesus, meeting new friends, and having so much fun!
American Sign Language (Grades 1–5)
Learn American Sign Language with fun, engaging games and activities!
Cake Decorating (Grades 3–5)
Learn how to decorate cakes, cupcakes, and more! Fun and yummy!
Center Stage for Jesus! (Grades 1–5)
Learn and share about Jesus and the Bible through skits, balloons, puppets, juggling, crafts, and bell ringing.
Clue Quest (Grades 3–5)
Do you like solving mysteries, finding clues, and breaking codes? This class is for you! Each day, you’ll work as part of a team to learn from God’s word, solve clues, and unlock the mystery box to find out what is inside.
Crafty Creations (Grades 1–5)
Craft–Create–Make! Join as we do all things creative. We will have fun doing craft projects, getting messy, and using our God-given creativity!
Crochet (Grades 3–5)
Join the Crochet Crew! No matter your ability, we’ll learn new skills and create projects to keep or share with friends. We can’t wait to create with you!
Culinary (Grades 4–5)
Learn to cook simple recipes, decide if baking from scratch is better than from a box, and more. We will eat all our creations, so come hungry!
Dance with Project JOY! (Grades 1–5)
Listen to uplifting Christian music and learn a fun dance! Whether you have lots of moves under your belt or you are exploring dance for the first time, we have fun lined up for you! This summer, dance with Project JOY—Jesus Over You!
Drawing 101 (Grades 1–5)
Ready, set, grab your pencil! Spend time sharpening your drawing skills. Learn how drawing can be an activity you can enjoy anywhere. We will practice various drawing techniques, create projects, and see how much fun can be had with just paper and pencils! We might have visits from some real live artists!
Exploring Robotics (Grades 3–5)
Learn the basics of robotics, including their electronics and programming, and build your own robot.
Game Changer (Grades 1–5)
Join us and Get ready to play Amazing games, Master strategy, Eliminate boredom, and Share your knowledge in this exciting board game class. Ready to play? It’s your move!
Giant Games (Grades 1–3)
You be the pawn when we play board games like GIANT Trouble and the cards for games like GIANT UNO, GIANT Spoons, and more! Make your favorite games life-size!
Just Dig It (Grades 1–5)
Put your garden gloves on and get crafty with plants. Create a plant friend, decorate your own garden bird feeder, or make a wind chime. There’s so much fun and creativity in the garden.
Karate Kids (Grades 1–5)
Calling all ninjas! Join us for an awesome kids karate camp experience. Students will make new friends, learn new skills, grow their faith in Jesus—all while having so much fun!
Kids in the Kitchen (Grades 1–3)
Do you enjoy cooking fun and healthy snacks and sharing your recipes with others? What about getting creative in the kitchen? If so, this course is for you! We will learn how to prepare fun, simple, and delicious recipes that you can enjoy with others.
LEGO® (Grades 1–5)
Aspiring master builders, if a bunch of kids and a mountain of LEGO® blocks sounds fun to you, come make amazing creations with LEGO®!
Mural in the making (Grades 3–5)
Experience a variety of art materials and work with others to make beautiful art. Each kid will make an individual art piece that will be assembled into a collaborative piece of artwork. Use your creative spirit to honor God.
Music makers
Music enthusiasts will explore the joy of music through a drum circle, rhythm band instruments, ukuleles, interactive singing, recorder karate, and creative music-making activities. You’ll be playing, singing, and making music in exciting new ways!
Natural Science (Grades 2–5)
Worship God by learning about his creation from Genesis 1 & 2! Engage in experiments and activities that relate to the mysteries in creation: light, water, plants, rocks and earth, animals and the human body!
rc cars (Grades 3–5)
Challenge remote-controlled trucks on an off-road course to see what the trucks can handle. Learn the mechanics of the truck and experiment with its ability to maneuver obstacles. Kids will work as teams to create an off-road course that pushes their driving skills to the limits!
Siege Crafts (Grades 3–5)
Unleash your inner engineer in Siege Craft! Engineering with Popsicle sticks, where you’ll design and build miniature siege machines like catapults, trebuchets, and ballistae using simple materials. Learn the physics behind these historic machines while putting your craftsmanship and creativity to the test.
Sports (Grades 1–5)
Practice and play in a variety of sports and playground games in teams. Boys and girls will have a blast on the field and court!
Woodworking (Grades 2–5)
Jesus was a carpenter and you can be too! Put your hands to work building useful projects that will last and sharpen your knowledge of woodworking and the tools of the trade.
