Serve our city September 22–28, 2024

We invite everyone at Christ Community Church to participate in City Serve. Along with over forty churches and other organizations from the Omaha area and thousands of volunteers, CCC will extend Jesus' compassion to our neighbors during City Serve.

City Serve FAQ

What day is City Serve this year?
City Serve is a week-long event from September 22–28, 2024.

How do I sign up for a work project?
Click here to view all projects, learn more about each one, and sign up to serve.

Are there any projects my children can participate in?
Most of the projects will be family-friendly this year. An adult must accompany each person fifteen years old and younger.

Once I sign up, how will I know where to go and what to bring?
You will receive an email with specific details five to seven days before your event.

Is that okay if I have to show up a little late or leave a little early?
Yes, this is okay. However, please recognize that you are part of a team working to accomplish specific goals, so try to bless your team with as much time as possible.

What happens if it rains on the day my project is scheduled?
We plan on completing all projects despite inclement weather! You will be contacted via email if we need to cancel a project.

Will we meet for lunch after church like we’ve done?
Yes! Please join us for a free lunch in the CCC Gym on September 22 from 12–1 PM. We will spend time sharing a meal, worshipping together, hearing from some of our local partners, and praying before we serve! You must sign up for the lunch and can do so when signing up for a specific project.

Are there t-shirts this year? Where and when can I pick up my t-shirt?
Yes! City Serve shirts are available for purchase when you sign up. You can pick one up in the Atrium on September 8, 15, and 22.

Can I sign up for more than one project?
Absolutely! However, please only sign up for projects for which you can fulfill your commitment.

What if none of the CCC projects fit my schedule?
You can do some at-home projects at any time or join others from the city at different (non-CCC) projects by signing up at cityserveomaha.org
